What is the minimum age to shop at TAPA WINES?

You must be of legal drinking age in your country of residence to be able to purchase from our store.

How do I know if my order has been accepted?

Your order is considered accepted only after payment confirmation. We will send you a confirmation email with all the details. If you do not receive it, please contact us at info@tapawines.com .

How long do I have to pay for my order?

Orders must be paid within a maximum of 24 hours. After this period, the order will be automatically cancelled.

Where can I check the status of my order?

The order statuses are: Pending (awaiting payment), Processing (preparing for shipment), and Completed (shipped). You can track the status using the tracking link we sent via email, which is also available in your account.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us at info@tapawines.com as soon as possible and before shipment . After shipment, changes are not possible, and cancellations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Shipping and Delivery

How much is the shipping?

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order and the delivery destination. The price includes a fixed packaging cost of €2 per bottle . You can simulate the total cost in your shopping cart.

Free shipping on orders over €70, valid only for mainland Portugal.
Specific shipping rates apply for Madeira and the Azores.

What is the delivery time?

Delivery times are estimates only. In mainland Portugal, the delivery time is approximately 72 business hours , but this may vary. For other destinations, please consult the detailed estimates in the Shipping and Delivery section of our Terms of Service.

What happens if I'm not home to receive the package?

The carrier will make a first delivery attempt. If unsuccessful, they will make a second attempt at no additional cost. From the third attempt onwards, there may be extra charges.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

If the packaging is damaged upon delivery, refuse it immediately, justify the return on the carrier's delivery note, and contact us at info@tapawines.com . If the damage is detected after delivery, please send us photos of the packaging and products to the same email address.

Returns

Can I return or exchange a product?

Yes. According to Portuguese law, you have the right to return products within 30 days of receipt. To start the process, please contact us by email, providing your order number.

Who pays for the return shipping costs?

TAPA WINES is only responsible for shipping and return costs in the case of defective products or incorrect shipments. Returns for other reasons are the customer's responsibility.

Other Issues

Do your prices include VAT?

Yes. All prices shown on our website already include the applicable VAT rates, in accordance with Portuguese law.

Are your product images 100% faithful to the original?

We strive to make the images as accurate as possible, but color and appearance may vary due to your screen settings. TAPA WINES does not guarantee that the appearance of the products will exactly meet your expectations.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes. The collection and processing of your personal data complies with our Privacy Policy . For more details, you can review our policy and that of Shopify, the platform we use.
